In a bustling city like Dubai, fines are a common occurrence. One of the most frequent violations is exceeding the speed limit, given the extensive network of speed cameras monitoring the majority of roads in Dubai. It’s easy to unintentionally surpass the speed limit while enjoying a smooth drive on Dubai’s roads.

In the event of a traffic violation, a fine will be issued to the driver. To steer clear of this, it’s crucial to adhere to the permitted speed limits, ensure timely payment for RTA parking, and unfailingly observe all road signs.

Our offer is contingent on a maximum usage defined by the specified number of kilometers outlined in your contract, generally ranging between 200 and 300 kilometers per day, depending on the vehicle. Any extra usage will incur a charge at a rate of AED (5-25 AED) per kilometer, contingent on the type of car.

When renting a car in the UAE, a deposit is required to cover any potential fines or damages. The deposit amount depends on the type of car rented. The deposit is blocked on the credit card and will be refunded after 21 days, minus any fines or deductibles. Dubai has a toll system called Salik, where AED 5 is deducted from the prepaid toll account whenever a car passes through. All records are done through the RTA Salik system and billed upon car return.

Salik is Dubai’s road electronic free flow toll system that works without toll booths and allows drivers smooth and continuous driving. Every car has a red sticker on the windshield, so a fee of AED 5 will be deducted from the prepaid toll account whenever you pass through Salik. In 4Matic Car Rental , all the records are done through the RTA Salik system and are billed when the car is returned.

It’s worth noting that even when using a taxi, you’ll still incur Salik charges at the end of your journey.

Smoking within our vehicles is strictly prohibited due to the potential for damage and the associated safety hazards while driving. Violation of this rule may result in a fee of up to AED 500.

The driver is responsible for returning the car in the same condition it was received. Any presence of dirt, food residue, or stains will incur an additional charge.

Engaging in activities such as off-roading, rallying, racing, or ‘drifting’ with our vehicles is strictly forbidden. Venturing into deserts and tracks is not allowed.

Customers are required to adhere to a speed limit of 160km/h. Any violation will lead to a charge of 2000 AED on the second instance. On the third occurrence, the vehicle will be immobilized, and there will be no refund for the remaining rental period.

In the event that the car is returned with an excessively messy interior, including litter and leftover food, a fee of 500 AED will be enforced.

Salik & Darrab toll charges encompass the toll fee (typically AED 4), an extra AED 1 service fee, and VAT applied to the service fee.

Traffic fines comprise the actual penalty, along with a service charge of AED 50, plus VAT on the service fee. We will promptly inform you upon receiving notification from the respective authorities.

In instances where fines lead to the impoundment of the vehicle, an additional fee ranging from 100 to 6000 AED will be applied.

You will be required to promptly address these amounts upon receiving notification.

All rental durations are calculated on a 24-hour basis. For instance, if you initiate a one-day rental at 9am, the vehicle must be returned by 9am the next day. Any delay, such as returning the car at 5pm on the following day, will incur an additional day’s charge.

Upon receiving notification, prompt settlement of these charges is required.

If a customer intends to extend their rental agreement for additional days, they must notify us at least 12 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in charges based on the standard daily rate for that season.

Payment for extensions must be made in advance; otherwise, the extension will not be considered valid.
